Further Music Town Opens in Forest Hills, Queens

We’re proud to introduce Further Music Town, our brand-new Forest Hills, Queens campus. Spanning 3,900 square feet, this innovative space marks a major milestone for Further Music School. Designed as a town-themed music learning environment, Further Music Town brings creativity, structure, and inspiration together—giving students and families a vibrant place to learn, grow, and perform.


The campus features 10 private lesson classrooms, two group piano rooms, a rock-and-roll concert hall, and a musical theater performance hall, creating a complete musical “town” under one roof.



A Unique Music School Experience in Queens

Further Music Town is more than a new location — it’s a reimagined approach to music education. Designed like a walkable town, each area supports different instruments, programs, and age groups, helping students feel excited and confident as they explore music.

Our new space brings together early childhood education, private lessons, group classes, classical and modern contemporary music, performance-based programs, and immersive Summer Camps—all within one cohesive, thoughtfully designed environment.

Students are greeted by bright, welcoming design and Buddy Dino, the friendly mascot and “Mayor” of Further Music Town. From the moment families walk in, the space feels inviting, playful, and purposeful.


Chill Square


Chill Square is a calm and comfortable gathering space where students can relax before or after lessons. Designed for musicians of all ages, it’s a welcoming place to recharge, connect with peers, and build friendships. Whether settling in before class or winding down afterward, Chill Square helps students feel grounded, inspired, and part of a vibrant music community.


🎤 The Amp Stage (Performance & Band Programs)

The Amp Stage is our dedicated performance and band space, where students experience the excitement of making music together through:


  • Band programs

  • Ensemble rehearsals

  • Performance-based learning


Students in our band programs and modern music courses take the stage for Friday concerts, giving them regular opportunities to perform live, collaborate with peers, and share their progress with the community.


🎸 Beat Boulevard — Contemporary Music Programs

Beat Blvd is designed specifically for contemporary music education. This energetic area supports lessons and programs in:

  • Guitar

  • Contemporary vocal training

Rock Band

Beat Boulevard is a high-energy creative zone dedicated to rock, contemporary, and pop music. Designed for passionate musicians, it encourages collaboration, originality, and bold artistic expression through modern music-making.


Main Street

Queens Music School

Main Street connects the entire school, guiding students naturally from one learning space to another. Designed as the heart of Further Music Town, it features Buddy Dino’s story, bringing music education to life through storytelling and visual exploration.


Throughout the year, Main Street transforms with seasonal musical pop-up markets, themed displays, and special events, creating a sense of discovery and excitement each time students walk through our musical town.
