Private Music Lessons
Private music lessons provide focused, one-on-one instruction, guiding students to hone their skills and reach their individual goals. Each student is teamed with a member of our highly qualified and strictly trained faculty, who will assess students’ needs and help develop their individual talents.
Our teachers have received their education from prestigious institutions such as Juilliard, Manhattan School of Music, Berklee College of Music, New York University, New England Conservatory with Master Degrees. Many of our instructors have gone on performance tours in the US, Asia, Europe. They also have over 25 years of professional performance and teaching experience. In addition to their teaching credentials, our faculty team strives to get to know each student and their parents on a personal level.

Piano Lessons in Manhattan, Long Island and Queens, New York
For beginner students, our piano faculty will show you the fundamentals of sight reading, technique and theory, by incorporating your favorite pieces into your lessons. For intermediate-advanced students, instructors will add ear-training, sight-singing, music understanding, technique improvement and performance skills to students ‘class. We also help students with preparing for various music exams and we even offer mock tests to students.

Vocal/Singing Lessons in Manhattan, Long Island and Queens, New York

Our singing teachers primarily combine fundamental voice training with a wide variety of music pieces. Vocal students spend time each week doing physical exercises to improve their vocal range, ear training, breath control, vibrato, tone production, enunciation and more. At Further Music, we believe that everyone deserves to fulfill their desire to sing. For the beginner we focus on fundamental ideas and build from the ground up. We know that everyone is different and no two voices are the same. We work with you to develop the practice routine that will help your voice grow the best way it can. Most importantly, we know how frightening it can be to sing in the beginning.

Guitar/Bass/Ukulele Lessons in Manhattan, Long Island and Queens, New York

The Further Music guitar/bass/ukulele program offers lessons in a wide range of styles for the acoustic, classical and electrical guitars. We offer classes to kids, teens and adults. We introduce students to all different styles of music, allowing them to get a well-rounded sense of the many ways there are to play the guitar. Students are given opportunities to perform and set goals, build repertoire and become confident guitarists!

Flute Lessons in Manhattan, Long Island and Queens, New York

If you enjoy the aesthetic expression and dynamic of the flute, Further Music School has the right teachers for your flute lessons. We offer flute lessons through an innovative and engaging curriculum for flute students in Queens, NY.
Students will start with the fundamentals of flute lessons, such as proper tone production, finger placement, breath control. More advanced and experienced students will develop proficiency in intervals, longtones, articulation and vibrato along with learning significant repertoire and incorporating core principles in their flute lessons.
