Further Rocks takes musicians  beyond ordinary music lessons and into an unforgettable band experience.

Young beginners rotate through different instruments. Developing musicians and adults form real bands, perform live, record in a professional studio, and receive the completed Further Rocks Seasonal Album.

​Program Highlights

10 Weekly Band Sessions   | Rehearse in a small, level-appropriate ensemble under professional musical direction.

Play & Create   |  Explore rock, pop, R&B, jazz, songwriting, and creative band projects.

Build Real Band Skills  |   Develop rhythm, listening, collaboration, musical communication, and stage confidence.

Perform Live   |  Take the stage at the school-wide Further Rocks Band Recital.

Record in a Professional Studio  |  Experience a professional recording session and record one song together as a real band.

Become Part of the Further Rocks Album  | Songs from participating Performance and Adult Bands are brought together in the Further Rocks Seasonal Album. Every participant receives a digital copy to keep and share.

Discovery Band | Performance Band |Adult Band

Discovery Band

Ages 5–8 | No experience required

Try the Instruments. Discover Your Favorite.

Students rotate through guitar, keyboard, drums, percussion, bass, and voice, discovering how each instrument contributes to the sound of a band. Through hands-on musical games and group songs, children develop rhythm, listening, coordination, creativity, and confidence—all while experiencing the excitement of their first band.

 

The Highlight

Guided instrument rotation gives every child the chance to play, explore, and discover where they shine.

Performance Band

Ages 7–14 | Prior experience recommended

​Your Band. Your Stage. Your Recording.​

​​

Private lessons build individual skills. Performance Band transforms those skills into a real musical experience. Students rehearse with a band, develop stage presence, perform live at the Further Rocks Band Recital, and enter a professional recording studio to record their band’s song.

​

Each band contributes one professionally recorded track to the Further Rocks Seasonal Album, and every student receives a digital copy of the completed album to keep and share.

 

The Highlight

Students do not just learn a song—they perform it live, record it professionally, and become part of a real album.

Further Rocks: Adult Band

Ages 15+ | Basic experience recommended

Stop Practicing Alone. Start Playing in a Band.​

Whether you currently play, sing, or are returning to music after years away, Adult Band gives you the opportunity to experience the full journey of a working band.Rehearse with other musicians. Build a set. Take the stage. Then enter a professional recording studio and record your band’s song.

 

Your track will be included in the Further Rocks Seasonal Album, and every participant receives the completed digital album.
