Meet With Band Leader-Mr.Tim Barnard
Mr.Tim is a producer, guitarist, bassist, and keyboardist. A graduate of Berklee College of Music. He has been involved in many bands spanning genres such as rock, jazz, metal, pop and folk. He is a key band member of Absurd Condition, a prominent band based in Long Island, NY that has been steadily gaining popularity in the NY area ever since the band entered the live music scene.Please see our news column-Further Land, ‘Story of a Maine Boy’ With a Band Dream (and the Band Is All In!), where band leader, Mr.Tim, shares his band experience as a professional musician!

Further Rocks Performance program is great for ages 8 and up. Students have the opportunity to play their instruments and explore other instruments that are incorporated in a band setting.

Students will explore a variety of genres such as rock, jazz, metal, pop, R&B and folk.
Designed to reinforce learning for guitar, vocal, drum and piano students, Further Rocks provides each student with experience as a band member and motivation to practice.
Further Rocks performance program allows students to join a band composed of fellow musicians. These students perform additional live shows throughout the year. Students will gain real music experience associated with gigging musicians and will become leaders and mentors inside the Further Music community.
Program Details:
Student Age: Age 8 and up, adult welcome
Students Levels
Guitar: Students with at least six months of learning experience.
Vocal: Students with at least six months of learning experience.
Keyboard - ABRSM Grade 2 and up
Drumset: Students with at least six months of learning experience.
(Video Preview/Audition Is Required)

Class Length: 45 Minutes, 16 weeks

Who can join the referral program?Everyone! Including current, formal and new students. The program is available to online or onsite students from all Further Music programs.
