In October 2019 Further Music School was chosen as Best Music School from the Best of Forest Hills Awards. This prestigious award was bestowed to Further Music School because of their distinct attention to providing the community with high caliber musical experience.
By focusing on every individual student and their families from the very beginning of lessons, following through with periodic progress methods, encouragement of recital performances, and the preparation for exams and potential professional careers, the Further Music School experience is a rare, comprehensive, and integral school of methods.
Further Music School was founded in 2007 with the goal of providing professional, world-class music lessons to students and adults of all ages. As the school and their notability have grown so too have its’ programs. Students may now begin lessons at the age of 2 and continue through adulthood. Unique to Forest Hills, Queens, and New York State, Further Music School’s qualified instructors provide the foundational music knowledge that allows students to grow, progress, and reach their musical goals. Continual evaluations of instructors ensure that music lessons are of the highest quality. The care and attention brought to each and every student by their instructor and the school provides a well-rounded musical journey.
