Course Description
Week 3: Rhythm & Groove--Students dive into timing, coordination, and ensemble playing through rhythm-based music and movement. Further Music Summer Camp is a week-long, immersive music experience designed for children ages 5–12, welcoming all levels from beginners to advanced students. Campers choose one main concentration for focused daily instruction while also rotating through Music Labs to explore piano, band, songwriting, drums, and musical theater. Instruction is thoughtfully adapted by age and level so every camper feels confident, challenged, and supported. Each week follows a consistent daily schedule that balances skill-building, creativity, movement, and collaboration, allowing students to grow musically while having fun and making friends. Every week concludes with our Friday Celebration Day, featuring a supervised field trip, outdoor music activities, and a family concert, where campers proudly perform what they’ve learned. Families may enroll in any individual week(s) or all weeks. Add multiple weeks to your cart and check out once. Daily Schedule (Monday–Thursday) Camp Hours: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Early Drop-Off and Extended Care available) 9:00–9:30 | Arrival & Warm-Up Icebreakers, rhythm games, movement, and community-building 9:30–10:45 | Major Block Focused instruction in the camper’s chosen concentration 10:45–11:00 | Snack Break 11:00–12:00 | Music Lab A Rotating exploration of piano, band, songwriting, drums, or theater 12:00–12:45 | Lunch 12:45–1:45 | Music Lab B A second rotating program for a well-rounded experience 1:45–2:00 | Snack / Ice Cream Break 2:00–3:00 | Ensemble / Project Time Group rehearsal, collaboration, and performance preparation 🎉 Friday Celebration Day Friday is our highlight of the week and includes: Morning: Supervised field trip Afternoon: Outdoor music games and activities Final rehearsal and family concert Families are invited to attend the concert and celebrate campers’ progress and confidence on stage.

Cancellation Policy
💳 Refund Policy All camp tuition is non-refundable once enrollment is completed. Because staffing, materials, and space are reserved in advance, we are unable to offer refunds, credits, or make-up days for missed sessions for any reason, including illness, travel, or schedule changes. 📅 Absence Policy If a camper is absent for any reason, the missed day(s) cannot be refunded, credited, or made up. Camp activities are designed as a group experience, and instruction cannot be recreated individually. ⏰ Early Drop-Off & Extended Care Early drop-off and extended care are available for families who need additional coverage. Early Drop-Off: 8:00–9:00 AM Extended Care: 3:00–5:00 PM Fee: $100 per week (per option) Availability is limited and must be arranged in advance. 🚸 Late Pick-Up Policy To ensure staff availability and safety, late pick-up fees apply: $15 per 15 minutes, or any portion thereof Repeated late pick-ups may affect continued enrollment. 🎭 Behavior Expectations We are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and positive environment for all campers. Campers are expected to: Follow staff instructions Treat peers and staff with respect Participate safely in activities If a camper’s behavior consistently disrupts the program or poses a safety concern, families may be contacted, and dismissal from camp may be required. Tuition is non-refundable in these cases. 🚑 Health & Safety Please keep your child home if they are sick. Campers must be able to participate safely in group activities. Parents will be contacted immediately in case of illness or injury. 📸 Photo & Video Policy Photos and videos may be taken during camp for educational or promotional purposes. If you prefer your child not be included, please notify the office in writing before the camp week begins. 🎶 Program Adjustments Further Music School reserves the right to adjust groupings, schedules, or activities as needed to ensure the best possible experience for all campers.
