The First Prize winner of the Munz Chopin Competition, and the Sixth China International Piano Competition, pianist Carrie Shi was praised by conductor Jahje Chiang: "Shi is special because of her total mastery of the piano; she also has that flair and great communicative power."

 

Currently, Carrie holds her Master's Degree in Piano Performance from The Juilliard School. In the past season, Carrie has performed extensively throughout the world. Her concert tour includes sold-out recitals in more than thirty cities, such as New York, Boston, London, Paris, Dublin, Chicago, Beijing, etc. In 2011, Ms. Shi signed with SONY as a Pianist and Music Producer.

 

As a world-renowned pianist and popular piano instructor, Carrie has more than ten years of piano teaching experience with students ranging from 2 years old into adulthood. She was also invited to judge various international piano competitions, such as the Hilton Head International Piano Competition and the 2011-2012 Global Youth Piano Competition. Currently, Carrie is a Piano Adjudicator in NYSSMA (New York State School of Music Association) and ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal School of Music).

 

Besides, Ms.Carrie Shi is also an experienced music talent agent, entrepreneur, and business investor. With precise market vision and unique business insights, she has successfully launched and promoted many classical musicians, including Paris Miller, Joshishu Tamokimo. Meanwhile, Ms.Carrie has been invited to the US Entrepreneurship Forum as a guest speaker since 2017. In January 2019, Carrie officially became an angel investor, focusing on supporting and investing in education, music, and media start-ups.
