Yingying hold a degree in Doctoral Musical of Arts (DMA) in piano performance from Florida State University. She earned a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance from Cleveland Institute of Music in 2013 and earned her Master of Music from University of Florida in 2015. Her musical performance experience and academic activities bring her into specialization of concerts, music festivals, workshops, conferences and presentations both in state and nationwide levels. Among others, the most distinguished ones including MTNA Conference, Pianofest in Hampton, Florida State University Biennial Festival of New Music, University of Toronto Graduate Music Conference, and Yarn/Wire Institute of New Music in New York.
Ms.Ying is an active performer and an experienced piano educator who have more than 10 years teaching experience and enjoyed instructing students from wide array of age span. Her teaching philosophy proactively directs her strong commitment to conduct students for the interactive learning and disciplined training process. She is enthusiastic in teaching piano incorporated auditory, visual and kinesthetic approaches. Her versatile pedagogical methodologies tailor students’ specific levels between early beginners and advanced learners. She is skillful at Suzuki style, and have successfully applied the approach and students who are benefited from it by growing significant progression. She believes every student can accomplish a rewarding result, the matter of its most is to create an engaging teaching environment and study patterns.
