Guitar and Piano Instructor 

Tim Barnard is a professional guitarist and pianist from Boston Massachusetts. He holds a Bachelors's degree in Professional Music from Berklee College of Music, with concentrations in song Writing, Music Education and Music perforamance.

Timothy is a versatile guitarist and pianist, who is skilled in various contemporary keyboard and vocal styles including Classical, Gospel, Jazz, R&B, Reggae, Country and Pop. He has worked with countless churches in the Boston area, as well as directed college choirs such as MIT GospelChoir, and Suffolk University Gospel Choir. During his professional music career, he has performed at popular venues such as Harvard Sanders Theatre, The Apollo Theatre and Fenway Park. Most recently, he has been playing guitar for the Long Island, NY-based band, Absurd Condition. The band has been active in a live setting since May of 2022, and has performed all around the east coast.

Timothy has 10 years of teaching experience at both advanced and beginner levels and is comfortable teaching all ages. His students have achieved much success in music which gives him the drive to keep sharing his expertise in music education. He believes that music should be as fun as possible. He wants music to become something that students can use as a creative outlet, not something that becomes stress-inducing.
