Further Piano Duets 

Further Duets--Duets are fun! This unique piano duets course is designed to enhance piano students' rhythm, dynamic, and musical skills, prepare Further Piano stars for the annual Gala Concert, and other public performance events. In duet classes, students will collaborate with their peer of a similar level to create beautiful music. The course will meet bi-weekly for 50 minutes, in a total of 8 sessions. 

 

All piano students who are in Piano Adventure book 2B and beyond are eligible to take this course. Weekly private piano lessons are required. 

 

Basic Beginner Level 
 
For Students in Piano Adventure 2B-3B or ABRSM Grade 1-2

The First Prize winner of the Munz Chopin Competition, and the Sixth China International Piano Competition, pianist Carrie Shi was praised by conductor Jahje Chiang: "Shi is special because of her total mastery of the piano; she also has that flair and great communicative power."

Beginner Level  
For Students in ABRSM Grade 3-4

Recording four solo albums and touring with his bands made his work recognized worldwide.

Intermediate Level  
For Students in ABRSM Grade 5-6

Ms. Marla Brasil is an accomplished and professional piano instructor from Brazil. Ms. Marla received her Bachelor’s Degree in Faculdades Mozarteum from the College in Music in Sao Paulo, Brazil. As a piano music theory specialist, Ms. Maria brings absolute proficiency and knowledge to her students and their music lessons.

Advanced Level  
For Students in ABRSM Grade 7-8 & ARSM

Mr. Myers studied piano with Beveridge Webster from The Juilliard School, Mr. Myers’ students have been honors winners in competitions held by the Virginia Music Educators Association, California Music Educators Association, and Music Teachers National Association regional competitions.
