
Aysen Idil Milliogullari

Aysen Idil Milliogullari is a lyric coloratura soprano. She received her Master's degree in voice performance from Mannes School of Music, studied with well-known voice teacher Arthur Levy.
She started working at Ankara State Opera House as a regular artist for 3 years. As a soloist, she made her debut as Turnspit in Rusalka. Later on, she performed as Soprano soloist in Living with Songs. Also, she was a part of in some opera productions for children, such as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Soprano soloist in The Magic World. In addition, she sang as a chorist in Macbeth, Don Giovanni, Tosca, Tannhauser, Ali Baba ve Kirk Haramiler, Zorba, La Boheme.
In 2013, she joined in Samsun State Opera House as a permanent artist as third place among many sopranos. She sang as a soloist in Istanbul International Ballet Festival with Samsun State Ballet Company and Maria Callas Memorial Concert which was also a season opening concert of Samsun State Opera House. She made her debut with this company as Papagena in The Magic Flute. She had her big success with singing the leading role, Oscar in Un Ballo in Maschera. After her success, she had a chance to sing the leading role Nihal in Ask-i Memnu. Other solo performances during her residency, Dodo in The Merry Widow, Anybody in The West Side Story. She also performed as a chorist in Birjan&Sara, Ali Baba ve Kirk Haramiler, Hekimoglu, Carmen.
After moving to New York, she made her debut as Pamina in The Magic Flute, with New York Lyric Theatre in The National Opera Center. She performed as a soloist in Mannes Sounds Piano Cantabile: It Runs in the Family Concert. During her studies in Mannes School of Music, she was a part of many concerts of Mannes School of Music as a soloist.
During her performance career, she worked with many students as a voice and piano instructor. While she was a young student, she was always passionate to work with successful and well-equipped teachers who had significant and relevant hands-on experience. She believes her experience, intention and background prepared her to be one of those teachers who can help younger generation to build the skills necessary
